United Methodist Women is a community of women who nurture and encourage one another in their spiritual growth, personal leadership and transformation. The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is:
To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ.
To develop a creative supportive fellowship.
To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Any women can come to our meetings and all are welcome to become a member.
Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the church or in the home, if hostess desires. The previous month’s hostess leads a devotional program. They enjoy fellowship and work on various service projects.
Meets the last Monday of the month at 1:30 p.m. Project group is open to anyone who wishes to come. Activities include: collecting and cutting cancelled stamps, sorting coupons, making favors and scrap books for the nursing homes, planning the rummage sale, maintaining the library and various other projects around the church.
