Rev. Procopio Arellano
Pastor Procopio Arellano and his wife Cristina are natives of Mexico. Pastor Procopio is a graduate of the four year seminary Kaleo located in Mexico City. Procopio retired from the Mexican Postal Service after 25 years of employment. They are the proud parents to 4 children and grandparents to 11 grandchildren. All of their children and grandchildren live in Wisconsin.
At age 13, Procopio began serving in his local church as a volunteer. He served in a Pentecostal church named Efeso from age 13 – 21. From age 22 until age 45 he served in a church named El Divino Rendentor. At age 46 he moved to a church named Jehova Nisi and served there for 10 years.
In August 2000, Pastor Procopio and Cristina moved to Delavan, WI. They both served as volunteers at the Delavan United Methodist Church until 2005. In 2005 they were asked to help start a Hispanic Ministry in Whitewater, WI. It was during this service that in 2013, Pastor Procopio received the call from God to enter into full time ministry.

Zach Jantz has been actively involved in youth ministry since 2002 and became the Youth Ministry Coordinator at RUMC in January 2007. He majored in mathematics with a minor in secondary education from Luther College, met his wife, Amy, while working at a Bible camp in Iowa, and attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for one year before returning to full-time ministry. Zach has a passion for knowing God’s word, building God-honoring relationships, spending time with his wife and four children, night games (hoonting, anyone?) and ultimate Frisbee. One of his favorite verses is Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

Judy Martin started as Financial Secretary in January, 2015. She joined the Reedsburg United Methodist Church in 1993 after moving to Reedsburg. Judy has Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from UW Stout in Menomonie, WI in Nutrition. She worked for most of her career as a Dietitian at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center, a position from which she is now retired. Judy has two daughters and 4 grandchildren. Hobbies include quilting, reading, staying fit, instructing yoga classes and healthy cooking.

Gary joined RUMC in May of 2012. Since then Gary can be found around the church several days a week cleaning, tidying and caring for God's house; always with a smile!Gary married Marsha Thayer 40 years ago. They have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Gary has lived in Reedsburg all his life, graduating Webb High in 1972. He enjoys gardening, antiques and cooking. He has an old schoolhouse he moved to his property and restored. It was built in 1858.
